As a designer within Marketing & Revenue Management, I worked in tandem with the editorial and brand teams to concept and execute a wide range of deliverables within the United Airlines ecosystem—maintaining design standards from customer inboxes to airports around the world.

 

In-Flight Entertainment Playlists

Tasked with redesigning the audio mix tiles, I wanted to play with the golden ratio (a design element prominently featured in United’s latest style guide) and also make use of the rarely-seen expanded color palette. The layouts were specifically designed to be modular, whether viewed in-line or as a grid.

Credit also to fellow designer Allie Hamburg for her collaboration in researching imagery, prepping files for handoff, and snagging a video of our work in the wild!

 

Miles On A Mission: Make a Wish

Audience: Approximately ~5.5 million MileagePlus members.
Launch date: December 12, 2023
Make-A-Wish provides life-changing wishes to children, and with travel being one of the most common factors, everyone was excited to see the impact this email campaign will have.

Stakeholder updates:

“Members have already donated 2.3 Million miles to Make-A-Wish and as such, we’ve increased the matching offer from 1 to 2.5 Million miles total. In addition - one member donated 500,000 miles.”

“This was one of our most successful MOAM campaigns and I am proud of the vision that we brought to life!”
